He is survived by: his spouses, Sandra Carol Smith and Du Quoin; his children, Tom Mitchell, Patsy of Elkville, Steve Mitchell of Du Quoin, Curt Mitchell of Carterville, Christina Mitchell and Carmen of Du Quoin; his grandchildren, Caleb Keigley, Crystal of Dowell, Stephanie Mitchell of Elkville, Nicholas Mitchell, Jennifer of Carterville, Allyson Mitchell, Brian of Newton, IL, Taylor Waldron, Alec of Carterville, Kelsey Mitchell of Elkville, Noah Mitchell, Dalton of Vergennes, Lauryn Mitchell of Cobden and Gauge Mitchell of Cobden; and his sister Julie Wilcox of Green River, UT.
