He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elder and Marjorie Elder (McMillian); and his brother Jesse Elder. He is survived by: his children, Brandon Elder of Du Quoin, Jesse, Amanda Elder of Elkville, Aaron Elder of Du Quoin and Jennifer Elder of St. Louis; his friend Vickie McDaniel; his siblings, Estella Dyer and Ben Elder; his grandchildren, Destiny, Bridgett, Noah, Sophia, Jaylen, Payden, Amelia, Cadence, Ava and Willow; his niece Cherry Hauge; and his nephew Jeremy Elder.
