She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Helmer and Margaret Helmer (Phillips); and her siblings, Peter M. Helmer, Edward Helmer and Ellenita Martinez.

She is survived by: her sisters, Maxine Noonan of Chicago, IL and Dorothy Klein of Dorval. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
