We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2022, at the age of 81, Mary Ann Iffert of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Murphysboro, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Williams and Mildred L. Williams (Garris); and her son-in-law Steve Dorsey. She is survived by: her husband John U. Iffert; her children, Kimberly Dorsey of Du Quoin, Kathy Nesbit of Maryland Heights, MO and Bishop John C. Iffert of Covington, KY; her grandchildren, Andy Joe Dorsey, Jenna Keim, Timothy Dorsey, Garrett Dorsey, Sarina Lyerla, Erica Gage-Nesbit, Sara, Geoffrey Nesbit, Jocelyn, Cassandra Juarez-Lopez and Noe; and her siblings, John Williams (Mary Alice) of Murphysboro, Betty Kane of Tilden and Joyce Thornton of Coulterville. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.

Friends may make memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Catholic Daughters and will be accepted at the funeral home.
