She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Brayfield and Mina Brayfield (Brown); her spouse Dale H. "Billy" Dorsey; her daughter Janet Huffstutler; her siblings, Nelson Brayfield, Noel Brayfield, Geraldine Stone and Betty Rae; her sons-in-law, Harold Dean Loucks, Ronald Zielinski and Kenneth Galczak; her grandchildren, Harold Sean Loucks, Ronald "Guy" Zielinski, Carl Crocker and Jacqueline Barnett; and her pet Lacey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Loucks of Scheller, IL, Peggy Galczak of Chicago, IL and Patricia Zielinski of Arlington Heights, IL; her brother Donnie "Cotton" Brayfield of Du Quoin; her grandchildren, Christine Rentner, Gary, Sandy Loucks, Kathy Crocker, Danny, Carolyn Loucks, Kelley, Alan Hicks and Steve Barnett; her great grandchildren, Timothy Loucks, Vincent Loucks, Sonnia, Justin Stone, Kira, John Tierney, Caleb Crocker, Dani Lyn Hill, Jon Loucks, Adrianne Mitchell, Issiaah Loucks, Alyn, Tim Newberry, Tiffany, Eric Powell, Sarah, Seth McGovern, Mahaylah, Tim Mabrey, Alayna Hicks, Dustin Hicks, Ethan Hicks, Crystal Bentley, Meagan Barnett, Ethan Barnett, Madison Rentner, Tyler Rentner, Jackie Rentner and Jolene Zielinski; her great great grandchildren, Talan, Layla, Brooklyn, Ashley, Alba, London, Nash, Coraline, Maverick, Braden, Eden, Reagan, Noami, Graham, Grant, Draven, Toby, Holland, Addie, Iziaah and Colon; and her pet Josie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Searby Funeral Homes (130 S Washington St, Du Quoin, IL 62832). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
