With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta L. Barrett of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Frederick, Illinois, who passed away on February 22, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalphie R. "Poodle" Smith and Inez Smith (Gray); and her siblings, Charles A. Smith, Barbara Cavins and Teresa Zoller.
She is survived by: her husband Don Barrett of Du Quoin; her daughter Diane Extine (Kevin) of Muncie, IN; her grandchildren, Jordan, Caleb of Muncie, IN, Hunter, Christina of Fishers, IN, Jessica and Charlie of St. Petersburg, FL; and her great grandchildren, Nahla, Steven, Reagan and Brinley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Friends may make memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
