She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Chittenden and Lavina Chittenden (Rust). She is survived by: her husband Chuck Sawyer; her children, Steven Sawyer (Beth) of Ringgold, GA, Christine Tuthill (Craig) of St. Louis, MO, David Sawyer of Los Angeles, CA and Dennis Sawyer (Sheila) of Ava, IL; and her sisters, Carol Carter (Dale) of Marissa, IL, Rita Smith (David) of West Virginia and Betty Politsch (Ray) of Belleville, IL. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Friends may make memorials to Liberty Church Missionary Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
