It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillian Mae Rains of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Royalton, Illinois, who passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Smith and Charline Smith (Humphrey). She is survived by: her husband Homer Lamoyne Rains; her daughters, Tracy Taylor (William) of Du Quoin and Lisa Cook (Jeff) of Du Quoin; her grandchildren, Shalane Reeves, Nolen McIntire (Christa), Morgan Fitterer (Tyler), Cameryn Degler (Jon), Carleigh Spain (Brandon), Spencer Cook (Sarah), Kacie Jones (Nathan) and Toni Taylor (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Carter, Brantley McIntire, Laina, Landry Bietsch, Lennon Fitterer, Emmerigh, Archer Degler, Haidyn, Noble, Stella Spain, Micah, Owen and Ezra Jones; her sister Betty Siefert (Don) of Du Quoin; and her niece Stephanie Day (Joe) of Du Quoin. She is also survived by three great nieces.

Friends may make memorials to the Old Du Quoin Baptist Church or Ronald McDonald House of Charity and will be accepted at the funeral home.
