He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Pyle and Pearl Pyle (Creek); his wife Betty Lou McGhee; his children, La Donna Gard and Larry Pyle; his grandson Jeff Pyle; and his siblings, Mary Emily Pyle and Leonard Pyle.

He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Jokisch (Bruce) of Du Quoin; his daughter-in-law Linda Pyle of Columbus, MS; his grandchildren, Michelle Gard of Ringgold, GA, Steve Pyle (Crystal) of Caledonia, MS, Brandi Vancil (Jason) of Du Quoin, Brent Jokisch of Edwardsville and Brianne Mason (Josh) of Pomona, IL; his great grandchildren, Jessica Nelson, Brent Pyle, Madison Oakden, Briley Pyle, Kennedy Pyle, Haley Williams, Ryker Vancil, Jaylen Jokisch, Brayden Jokisch, Brody Mason and Steele Mason; his sister Kathryn Bryant; and his nephew Leonard Lee Pyle (Dotty). He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

Friends may make memorials to the Alzheimer's Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
