It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Wesley Johnson of Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luphfer W. Johnson and Ida Pearl Johnson (Haner); and his siblings, Diane Orosco, John Johnson and Richard Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Palmer; his children, Alan Dale Wesley Johnson of Gulf Port, MS and Crystal Dawn Johnson of Springfield, IL; his granddaughter Brittany Freeman (Joshua) of Dongola, IL; his sister Nina Miliam (Leroy) of Redlands, CA; and his sister-in-law Norma Johnson of Du Quoin, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may make memorials to the Perry County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
