He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Fronek and Ruth Fronek Jr. (Horn); his wife Ruth Ann Glidewell; and his brothers, Richard Fronek and David Fronek.

He is survived by: his children, Sara Fronek-West (Jacob Schubert) of Du Quoin, Scott A. Hartleb of Tamaroa, Terry J. Hartleb (Patti) of Tamaroa, Aaron L. Hartleb (Laurie) of St. Louis, MO, Carolyn Fronek of Tamaroa, John Fronek of Florida and Rick Fronek of Indiana. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Friends may make memorials to the Perry County Humane Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
