It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Monroe Trapp of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Smithville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Trapp and Mildred Trapp (Wright). He is survived by: his partner Debbrah Brown of Du Quoin; his children, Jerry Ray Trapp, Shanna Davis and Marteen Brown; and his grandchildren, Elijah Anthony, Tyree Young, Summer Davis and Justice Davis.

Friends may make memorials to Christ Community Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
