She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Teaney and Virginia Teaney (Spiller); her sister Linda Teaney; and her cousin Connie Little. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Pyron; her children, Mark Edward Smith (Susan Howland), Virginia Harris of Du Quoin and Keith Pyron (Tara) of Du Quoin; her brother Carl "Sonny" Teaney (Brenda) of Du Quoin; her grandchildren, John Harris, Dustin Smith (Shala), Kevin Harris (Kim), Ashley Murry (Nathan), Melissa Harris, Wendy Funk (Briar), Brie Fletcher (Cody) and Dylan Pyron (Sarah); and her caregiver Rachel Davison. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren.

Friends may make memorials to the family with donations made to Melissa Harris and will be accepted at the funeral home.
