She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tatum and Eileen Broadway (Hartsock); her husband Howard A. Hance; and her children, Julie Steinmetz and Bob Wheatley.
She is survived by: her daughter Jane McKinney (Steve); her grandchildren, Jenny Wheatley-Clark (Jim), Sherri Eberhart (Anton), Joe McKinney (Mandi) and Scott Steinmetz (Heather); her great grandchildren, Lexi Hicks, Matthew McLane, Aidan, Logan Eberhart, Clay and Kodie McKinney; and her great great grandchild Maggie Lacy.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (130 S Washington St, Du Quoin, IL 62832).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
