He is survived by: his children, Monica Nippe (Ellen Ramsey) of Murphysboro and Mark Nippe (Susan Nippe) of Du Quoin; his grandson Brandon Nippe of Du Quoin; and his brother Roger Nippe (Deloris) of DuBois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
