He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin R. Fulkerson and Luetta Fulkerson (Jewel); his son Ronald Fulkerson (Connie); and his siblings, Andrew Fulkerson and Frances Clark.
He is survived by: his former wife Jo Ann Murray; his spouse Du Quoin; his daughters, Linda Sprague (Ron) of Thompsonville, IL and Rebecca Fulkerson of Sparta, IL; his grandchildren, Christina Montoya of Benton, IL, Alesha Smith (Joel) of Tilden, IL and Michael Mathis of Du Quoin; his great grandchildren, Brianna Ehler, Lauren Ehler, Kelsey Sinnett, Kendra Mathis and Isabel Mathis; and his brother Carl Fulkerson of Uniontown, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
