With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Greg Gene Showalter of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Mount Carmel, Illinois, who passed away on February 6, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Gene R. Showalter; and his brother Gary Showalter. He is survived by: his mother Marianne Showalter (Lankford) of Du Quoin; his wife Ruth Ann Erwin; his daughters, Michelle Denny (David) of Columbia, IL and Brooke Robnett (Mark) of Bristow, VA; his grandchildren, William Denny, Samuel Denny, Caroline Denny, Gabrielle Denny, Gavin Robnett, Laila Robnett and London Robnett; and his siblings, Debbie Hill (Cha) of Du Quoin and Gordon Showalter of Du Quoin.
