He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William A. Mathis Sr., John and Pat Hollis. He is survived by: his parents, Billy A. and Jean Ann Mathis Jr. (Hollis); his son Jace Richard Waine Mathis of Du Quoin; his stepson Braxton Ragan of Buckner; his brother Quinton Mathis (Stevie) of Du Quoin; his grandmother Ruth Mathis (Jayme Williamson) of Du Quoin; his daughter Haley of Royalton; his niece Rylee Mathis of Du Quoin; his great-uncle Steve Parry (Vickie) of Du Quoin; his great-aunts, Sara Geary of Du Quoin and Sundy Moore of Rushville; and his aunt Debbie Hollis of Sesser. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
