He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Schobert and Dominica Schobert (Allabastro). He is survived by: his wife Faye I. McCormick; his children, Matthew Schobert (Camden) of Portland, OR and Christine Thornton (Ed) of Horicon, WI; his grandchildren, Grace Thornton, Trey Schobert, Cecilia Schobert and Bishop Schobert; and his brother Bryan Schobert (Mary) of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Friends may make memorials to Planetary Society or Illinois St. Bernard Rescue and will be accepted at the funeral home.
