With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy May Jacoby of Du Quoin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward H. Broyles and Maude B. Broyles (Renfro); her spouse Gene Jacoby; her siblings, Edna Davison, Paul Broyles, Earl Broyles, Bartley Broyles and Victor Neal Broyles; and her sons-in-law, Don Jones and Don Millikin.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Jacoby (Eunice) of Du Quoin, Sandy Jones (Chuck Palmer) of Du Quoin, Jackie Richmond (Randy) of Pinckneyville, Linda Harris (Kenny) of Du Quoin, Janet Jones (Cecil) of Du Quoin, Donna Davison (Jackie) of Du Quoin, Jeff Jacoby (Cindy Laur) of Du Quoin and Sharon Combes (Shannon) of Columbia, MO. She is also survived by numerous grandkids and great grandkids.

Friends may make memorials to First Christian Church or Marshall Browning Hospital Tree of Life and will be accepted at the funeral home.
