Doris Jean Neff Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Jean Neff of Du Quoin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Terry Walker, Steven Walker and Butch Neff; and her grandchildren, Erica Hastings and Johnny Million.
She is survived by: her husband Chet Neff; and her children, Rick Walker (Robin) of Golden, IL, Brenda Gansman (Donnie) of Moscow Mills, MO, David Walker of Warrenton, MO, Kelly Garcia of Pinckneyville, IL and Tim Walker of Du Quoin, IL. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Searby Funeral Homes (130 S Washington St, Du Quoin, IL 62832). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Friends may make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
