He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Bailey and Mabel Bailey (Runion); his daughter Cathy Allen; his granddaughter Tracy Thompson; and his brothers, Harold Dean Bailey and Bill Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Humphrey (Petry); his children, Raymond Humphrey (June) of Ocala, FL, Elizabeth Thompson of Du Quoin, Allen Humphrey (Sally) of Du Quoin, Linda Huffman (Gordon) of Foristell, MO, Mary Jones (Ken) of St. Peters, MO and Ruth Hale (Mark) of Du Quoin; his sisters, Jane Schobert (Jim) of Du Quoin and Phyllis Van Dermark (Harry) of Du Quoin; and his grandchildren, Terry Humphrey, Heather Johnson, Kristofer Huffman, Neil Humphrey, Megan Hutchings, Ben Huffman, Dustin Huffman, David Jacob O'Rourke and Ryne O'Rourke. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
