He was predeceased by: his parents, John Donald and Ida Mae Harriss (Daffron); his wife Margaret Jane Lambert; and his father-in-law Kenneth Lambert. He is survived by: his daughters, Samantha Deutschmann (Daniel) of Mascoutah, IL and Jennifer Harriss of Ruma, IL; his grandchildren, Mason Deutschmann, Steven Weygandt and Ashlee Deutschmann; his mother-in-law Marcella Lambert of Pinckneyville; his siblings, Donna Mae Roberts (Jim) of Arkansas, Bill Harriss (Ida Fay) of Du Quoin, Mary Merkel (Gary) of Tamaroa, Mike Harriss (Rita) of Du Quoin and John Harriss (Debbie) of Pinckneyville; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Malanowski (Mark) of Tamaroa and Sue Floyd (Gary) of Texas.
