With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Wayne Hinton of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on April 25, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Hinton and Margaret Hinton (Hale). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. Hester; his sons, Jeremy Hinton of St. Louis, MO, Joshua Hinton of Baldwin, IL and John Hinton of Baldwin, IL; his stepchildren, Ray Hester of Elkville, Cliff Cavins of Bonnie, Billy Cavins of Royalton, Gerald Cavins of Borger, TX and Helen Cavins of Borger, TX; and his siblings, Christopher Hinton of Pekin, Gail Seward of Gibson City, IL, Cheryl Hinton of Rantoul and Cindy Wilson of Churchill, TN. He is also survived by nine grandsons, two granddaughters, three great granddaughters and one great grandson, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
