With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Conrad Mark Shurtz (Du Quoin, Illinois), who passed away on February 7, 2019 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Maurice and Inez Shurtz (Quinn); and his brother Randall Shurtz. He is survived by: his spouses, Mary Ellen Keller and Du Quoin; his children, Michael Shurtz (Rachel) of Du Quoin, Carol McDonald of Pinckneyville, Carmen Atkins (Bill) of Du Quoin, Roger Shurtz of DeSoto, Lynn Bowlin (Tom) of Metropolis and Bridget Vale of Carterville; and his brothers, Dahl Shurtz of Tamaroa and Alan Shurtz of Collinsville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
