He is survived by: his former wife Alice Gammill; his spouse Du Quoin; his children, Carolyn Downs of Arkansas City, KS, Lea Anne Wijesinghe of Horn Lake, MS, Roy Pickens of Arkansas City, KS, Roger Pickens of Arkansas City, KS and Robert Mason of Pontotoc, MS; and his siblings, Milton Downs of Collinsville, IL, Bonnie Smith of Arkansas City, KS and Viola Downs of Steelville, IL. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
