Cindy Hagston Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cindy Hagston of Du Quoin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul William and Betty Lou Hartsock (Shelton); her grandson Blake Hartung; her sister Marsha Coffel; her great grandchild Caroline Weber; her nieces, Krystal Dunn and Kimberly Peach; and her nephew Glenn Grizzell.
She is survived by: her sons, Bart Hagston (Tracy) of Murphysboro and Matt Hagston (Jeannie) of Pinckneyville; her grandchildren, Morgan Weber (Kraig) of Murphysboro, Austin Hagston (Leslie) of Pinckneyville, Jacob Hagston (Katalynn) of Redmond, WA and Holly Swallers (Matt) of Du Quoin; her great grandchildren, Benning Wright, Ryett Hagston, Ripley Swallers and Ender Swallers; her sisters, Dixie Lewis of Palo, IA and Paula Morgan (Bob) of Du Quoin; and her niece Wendy White of Elkville. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Searby Funeral Homes (130 S Washington St, Du Quoin, IL 62832). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Friends may make memorial to the Cardinal Glennon Children's Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
