He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moss and Alta Moss (Dennis); his wife Hilda Irene Queen; his children, Terry Strode and Mike Moss; his granddaughters, Katie Strode and Kayla McIntosh; and his siblings, Tom Moss and Betty Moss.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Carver of Du Quoin and Stephen Moss (Sherry) of Du Quoin; his brother Bob Moss (Tinnie) of Belleville; and his son-in-law Robert Strode of Du Quoin. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild.
