We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Charles Ervin Pietsch Jr. (Du Quoin, Illinois), born in Vernon, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Carl Pietsch and Olivia Margaret Pietsch (Graf); and his grandsons, Chistopher Bradley Roussel and Isaac Daniel Roussel. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Carlie Michelle Kasten (Dane) of Nashville, IL, Melinda Sue Pietsch (Bobby), Palombo, Brent Roussel, Baton Rouge, Nicholas Andrew Roussel, Jonathan Webb Roussel, Joshua David Roussel and Maci Rae Pietsch; his great grandchildren, Skyleigh Bradley Pietsch of Baton Rouge, LA, Evelyn Mae Kasten, Lydia Ann Palombo and Louis Christopher Kasten; and his siblings, Virginia Pietsch and Clint Pietsch (Faye). He is also survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, two daughters, a son, three granddaughters, three grandsons, and three great granddaughters, and one great grandson.
The family requests that all attendees wear a mask and follow social distancing. Public visitation will be held at the graveside from 10:00 am until 11:00 am observing Covid-19 rules.
Memorial donations may be made to Feed The Children, Oakdale Cemetery, or American Heart Association.
