He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Cornett; his wife Rachel Halford; and his stepfathers, Donald Heape and Darrell Oestreicher. He is survived by: his mother Anna Cornett (Sizemore) of Mulkeytown; and his siblings, Kevin Roy Oestreicher (Dawn) of Du Quoin, Tracy Haney (Sean) of Du Quoin, Paula Beckham (Tisha) of Dowell, Kerry Oestreicher (Natosha) of Du Quoin and Lennet Gibbs (Jeremy) of Murphysboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Searby Funeral Homes (130 S Washington St, Du Quoin, IL 62832). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Friends may make memorials to Fresenius Dialysis Center and will be accepted at the funeral home.
