It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty L. Moore of Du Quoin, Illinois, born in Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley H. Kirkland and Effie J. Kirkland (Smith); her husband Andrew W. Moore; her grandchildren, Andrea Moore and Justin Moore; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Moore; and her siblings, Permelia Kirkland, Wesley Paul Kirkland, Effie Hughes, Reva Leslie and Marybelle Moore.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Anderson (David) of Buncombe, IL and Andrew Paul Moore of Du Quoin; and her grandchildren, Robert Huntley (Bobbie) of Du Quoin, Les Huntley (Donna) of Fancy Farm, KY, Jamie Jo Womble (James) of Marion, IL, David Richard Anderson (Katie) of Metropolis, IL and Joseph Anderson (Kira) of Hawaii. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Friends may make memorials to Spirit of Life Christian Church, Hospice of Southern Illinois or Marshall Browning Hospital Tree of Life and will be accepted at the funeral home.
