She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Armstrong and Pearl Armstrong (Rigdon); and her sisters, Janet K. Miller and Delores Schwartzkopf. She is survived by: her husband Stanley F. Valier; her sons, Larry Valier (Lisa) of Du Quoin and Steve Valier (Jami) of Du Quoin; her grandchildren, Joshua Valier (Bethany) of Du Quoin, Jessica Hamburger (Josh) of Du Quoin, Jacob Valier (Kate) of Du Quoin, Lane Valier of Du Quoin and Sydney Menckowski (Shawn) of Du Quoin; her great grandchildren, Liam Valier, Lainey Valier, Lauren Valier and Carleigh Hamburger; her brother William Armstrong (Lindy) of Du Quoin; and her siblings-in-law, Frances Milam of Du Quoin and Mervin Schwartzkopf of Nashville, IL..
