He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry A. Murray and Helen Murray (Rogers); and his half-siblings, Bob Murray, John Murray, Dorothy Pierce, Betty Thorpe and Verda Mae Brock.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Huie; his daughters, Debra Falla (Steven) of Miramar, FL and Jeanne Carey (Shawn) of Cooper City, FL; his grandchildren, Breanna Falla and Brett Spiegel; his stepgrandchildren, Justin Falla and Shanique Falla; his great grandchild Hania Spiegel; and his sister JoAnn Fulkerson of Du Quoin.
