She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Kubicki and Frances Kubicki (Jaskula); her husband Edward Kania; her grandson James Kania; her siblings, Ted Kubicki, Ray Kubicki, Walter Kubicki, Carl Kubicki, Ed Kubicki and Lillian Nickrent; and her son-in-law Dennis Kellerman.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Kellerman of Pinckneyville, Daniel Kania (Bonnie) of Erlanger, KY, Doris Roesch (William) of Thompsonville, IL and John Kania (Jane) of Ashley, IL; her sister-in-law Mary Lou Ratajczyk of Columbia, IL; and her grandchildren, Kevin Kellerman (Amanda) of St. Louis, MO, Kimberly Kretz (Kyle) of Christopher, Charles Kania (Lisa) of Atascadero, CA, Nicholas Kostecki (Lindsay) of McLeansboro, IL, Shawn Kostecki of Carbondale, Holly Johnson (Aaron) of Ashley, Hannah Klaybor (Mark) of Du Bois and Haylee Kania of Ashley. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may make memorials to St. Charles Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
