Scott Romine Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2024, at the age of 98, Scott Romine of Downs, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Scott may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Scott touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Romine and Inis Scott Romine. He is survived by: his sons, Rodney (Sue) and Brian of Bloomington, IL; and his siblings, Russell K. (Joyce) of Osage Beach, MO, Ron of Bloomington, IL, Owen (Pat) of Stanford, IL., Janiece Stanger of Bloomington, IL., Nadine Weber of Bloomington, IL. and Linda Bourret (Bill) of Bloomington, IL..
