James R. Schaefer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2018, at the age of 84, James R. Schaefer (Downs, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Schaefer of Danvers and Joyce Hinshaw (Lyle) of Bloomington; and his son Richard Allen Schaefer. He is survived by: his spouse Lorraine "Lori" Dunlap; and his children, David Schaefer (Sue) of Bloomington, Kathy Hutchcraft (Gregg) of LeRoy, Carrie Cobstill (Dave) of Downs, Beth Muzny (Chris) of Austin, TX and Nanci Murphy (Mike) of Decatur.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
