It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary D. Adkisson of Downs, Illinois, born in Creston, Iowa, who passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Adkisson and Marjorie Ellison Adkisson; his son Bradley; and his siblings, Ed and Judy.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Adkisson; his sons, Gregory D. Adkisson (Dawn) of Normal and Chad E. Adkisson of Downs; his grandchildren, Abigail and Daniel Adkisson of Normal; and his brother Ken Adkisson (Dorothy) of Downs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
