He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Lillian (Gapinski) and Ignatius Stanley Myszka; and his parents-in-law, Bjarne and Molly Olsen. He is survived by: his children, Malaina Leckner (Mike), Kristine, Kenneth (Michelle), Mark (Ingrid), Eric (Lori), Carolyn Haderspeck (Karl), Mitchell (Lisa), Paul (Brooke) and Lisa Hudson (Jason); his grandchildren, Rhonda Flegel (Michael), Kenneth Myszka (Nanam), Elizabeth Johnson (Jared), Aaron Miller (Justine), Matthew Myszka (Natalie), Andrew Myszka, Phillip Myszka (Ginni), Heidi Carmack (Tyler), Anna Myszka, Kyle Myszka (Amber), Michelle O'Neall (Austin), Melissa DeBartolo (Michael), Justin Myszka (Brittany), Nathan Myszka (Jada), Kevin Haderspeck (Brooke), Bethany Laesch (Conner), Zachary Myszka, Melanie Myszka, Amy Spagnolo (Jeff), Hunter (Olivia), Shane, Alexis, Chloe, Madyson, Samantha, Luke and Rhett Myszka; his great grandchildren, Aubrie, Preston, Shawn, Trevor, Clover, Olivia, Ella, Comfrey, Jack, Wyatt, Morus, Carson, Benjamin, Arthur, Samuel, Molly, Ranger, Ellis, Maverick, Addy, Vivian, Maisie, Hugh, Paxton, Walter and Baby Laesch; his wife Norma Marlene Olsen; his siblings, James (Rose), Marilyn Dudzinski (late Leonard) and Mary Lou Sullivan (late Bill); and his sisters-in-law, Jean (late Alf) and Linda (late Dan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carmody Flynn Funeral Home (1800 Eastland Dr, Bloomington, IL 61704). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Patrick Catholic Church of Merna (1001 N Towanda Barnes Rd, Bloomington, IL 61705).
