He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia; his brothers, Emil, Peter (Carol) and Edward Simoncelli (Louise); and his parents, Emilio Simoncelli and Carmella Simoncelli.
He is survived by: his children, Charesse Manganiello (Jack), Wayne Simoncelli, Shannon Schloneger (Tim), Dino Simoncelli, Nicole Turek (Marty), Claudine David (Efrain, Jr.), Dominic Simoncelli and Angela Dunda (Chris); his grandchildren, Nick, Anthony, Joey, Wayne, Calista, Paulie, Francesca, Christian, Jacob, Claire, Isabella, Everini, Dino, Lena, Abby, Patty, Hailey, Efrain III, Carlos, Dominic, Vincenzo and Luca; and his sibling Leonore Gabl (late Arthur).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (301 75th St, Downers Grove, IL 60516). A prayer was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital appreciated.
