With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlene McMahon (Downers Grove, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John McMahon; her parents, Dennis Hough and Mae Hough; her siblings, Dennis Hough, Patsy (Peter Fitzpatrick) and John Hough; and her daughter Karen Gentz (Rich).

She is survived by: her children, Michael D. McMahon (Margaret), Patrick McMahon (Marie), Kathy Rusk, Thomas McMahon (Jeanne), Therese McMahon (Robert Sheets) and Annie Martin (Barrett); her grandchildren, John McMahon (Mary), Brian McMahon (Erika), Michael McMahon (Abby), Thomas McMahon (Rena), Meghan Potempa (Timothy), Colleen O'Brien (Thomas), Patrick McMahon (Karen), Shane McMahon (Corey), Erin Hruby (Anton), Joseph Rusk (Kelsey Fletcher-Broucek), Sara Bahn (Steven), Lauren Seibert (Collin), Katie Leahy (Dan), Mary Sarah Keller (Peter), Anna Mae Klug (Michael), Teresa McMahon, Joseph McMahon (Abneris), Nicholas McMahon, Martin McMahon, Susanna Dery (Jordan), Julia McMahon, Kevin McMahon and Nicole Gentz; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Reagan, Tara, Sean, Brady, Madeline, Katelyn, Jack, Grace, Thomas, Anna, Declan, Tiernan, Colin, Margaret, Eileen, Clare, Caroline, Kennedy, Andi, Margo, Oliva, Hadley, Cooper, Marlena, August, Tommy, Patrick, Mae, Claire, Marie, Charlotte, Jeremaih, Olivia, Henry, George, Josiah, Jayleen and Eleanor.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Church (820 Division St, Lisle, IL 60532). A Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
