Margaret Sue Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Sue Smith of Downers Grove, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Howell Smith; her parents, Charlie Jeffrey and Jewell Speak Jeffrey; and her siblings, Wilma Cloyd and Dean Smith.

She is survived by: her sons, Ernie Smith (Julie) of Lisle, IL and Roger Smith (Kelly) of Romeoville, IL; her siblings, Raymond Jeffrey of Manchester, KY and Doris Hensley of Louisville, KY; her grandchildren, Robert (Kathryn), Bill, Holly and Kailey; her great grandchildren, Maxwell, Scarlett, Desmond and Louna; and her close friend Louise.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Pittsburg Cemetery. Donations can be made through the funeral home.
