Lois Joan England Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Joan England of Downers Grove, Illinois, born in Kellogg, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carl and Gretchen Louise Hasselbrink (Smith); her stepmother Jean; her siblings, Rita Martin, Christy Stevens and Carl Hasselbrink; her former husband Alpha England; and her daughter Michele Akers.
She is survived by: her son Michael England (Julie) of Rockford, IL; her brothers, Gerald Hasselbrink (Elizabeth) of Minnesota and George Bob Hasselbrink of Colorado; her grandchildren, April Bertke (Ivan) of Houston, Madison of St Charles, MO and Kyle (Joanna Pyatt-Akers) of Timber; her son-in-law David Akers of Raymondville; and her great grandchildren, Dedrick, Brooklyn and Titan of Houston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
