It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence V. Lampsa of Downers Grove, Illinois, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lampsa and Esther Lampsa (Perren); his wife Carol M. Swattler; and his brother Alvin Lampsa. He is survived by: his sons, David (Lesli) of Wausau, Brian (Carla) of Downers Grove, IL and Jeff (Amber) of New Berlin; his grandchildren, Bethany Cody (Ryan), Mathew, Christopher, Maggie and Sarah Lampsa; his great grandchild Reed Cody; and his siblings, Jacqueline Van Willigen (John) of Lexington, KY and Edward Lampsa of Palmyra, WI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Never Forgotten Honor Flight.
