She was predeceased by: her brother Timothy Eggert (Tyna); and her parents, Leonard Eggert and June Eggert. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas J. Harrington; her children, Erin Lee Doty (Shawn), Megan Rose Sioson (Noel) and Brett Thomas Harrington; her grandchildren, Tyler, Aubrey, Cora and Ava; and her brother Jeffrey Eggert (Chris).

Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Services (4343 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60515). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home (4343 Main St, Downers Grove, IL 60515).

“Judy and I met on our first day in college. Throughout more than 50 years, our friendship never waned despite the fact that our lives were quite different. Judy, of course, stayed in the Chicago area focusing on Tom, her children, and then her grandchildren. I was often working overseas. But love can endure and Judy certainly made that her priority, and not just for me. Whether she was enjoying Paris with me, or I was at her home in Downers Grove, Judy was someone I wanted to be with.”
