He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dianne Czopek; his children, Mark Czopek, Mike Czopek (Cheryl), Anne DeFranco and Chris Czopek (Kim); his grandchildren, Elysse, Isabella, Andrew, Joshua, Allison, Tyler, Oliver and Hannah; and his sister Marcia Czopek.
