He is survived by: his brothers, Joseph (Susan Heitzman), John (Sandy Heitzman), Danny Heitzman of Brighton, Matthew (Tina Heitzman) and Thomas (Kathy Heitzman). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be given to the family to assist in the placement of a monument at Russell's gravesite.
