He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Laird and Nellie Laird (Schlieper). He is survived by : his children, Michael Laird (Martin Phillips) of Moro, IL and Karen Dawson (Jamal) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Jason and Jamal Dawson; and his sister Wanita Baugman.
