He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick W. Long Sr. and Berniece Long (Talley); and his sisters, Dorothy Walker, Ida Bridgewater and Phyllis Tuey.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Roth; and his sisters, Paula Wieneke of Golden Eagle and Bonnie Smith of Carrollton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
