He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alexander and Cleda Hoxsey (Alexander); his children, Robert Keith "Bobby" Hoxsey and Tamara Kay Marberry; and his sister Glendola Faulk.
He is survived by: his former spouse Kay File; his sons, Steve Hoxsey of Donnellson and James Hoxsey (Susan) of Donnellson; his grandchildren, Bobbie Ann Wells of Vandalia, Megan Bobbitt (Wesley) of Park Hills, MO, Philip Edwards (Kara) of Sorento, Sheena Murphy (Jake) of Pocahontas and Becky Edwards (Joe) of Shumway; his great grandchildren, Morgan, Christopher, Nate, Shoal, Shore, Jayden, Ember and Ripson; and his siblings, Etta Masinelli of Staunton, Melvin Hoxsey of Hillsboro, Nola Dewitt of Montgomery and Bill Hoxsey (Katherine) of Girard. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
