He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Reeves and Evelyn Reeves (Lewis); his wife Mary Jean Davis; his stepmother Lucille Reeves (Neece); his son Dwight Roger "Doc" Reeves; and his sister Myrna Marti.

He is survived by: his son Geoff Reeves (Theresa) of Hillsboro, IL; his daughter-in-law Nancy Reeves of Donnellson, IL; his grandchildren, Paige Farmer (Ryan) of Hillsboro, IL, Payton Reeves of North Hollywood, CA and Kelli Reeves of Donnellson, IL; and his brothers, Fred Reeves (Bonnie) of Mason City, IL and Roger Reeves (Kathy) of Hillsboro, IL..

He was a member of the Coffeen Lion Club; Hillsboro Area Hospital Board; Hillsboro Education Foundation and had served on several other boards.
